Our Philosophy
I believe that a body in balance has an innate ability to heal itself. When a patient experiences poor nutrition, stress, exposure to environmental toxins, trauma, to name just a few, this balance can become disrupted leading to impairment in the body’s natural healing capabilities. If left unattended, for weeks, months, years, this disrupted function, eventually leads to “dis-ease” in the body.
My goal as your practitioner is to facilitate the body’s ability to achieve this balance once again. I believe true healing comes from this belief in our bodies ability to heal, that it is capable and resilient. This journey is different for each individual. It requires really listening to our patients and their story, then providing a safe and supportive environment for that healing to occur. I utilize these techniques along side thoughtful diagnostic skills, and evidence based strategies with the goal of providing the utmost in personalized health care.

Where Do We Start
First, we establish care with an in-office appointment. This appointment takes about 90 minutes, billed at the hourly rate.
During this appointment, we discuss your health concerns, health history, current diet and lifestyle, and goals for our work together. We may decide to order diagnostic studies or tests at this time, but this is not always necessary. We want you to leave this appointment with strategies for improving your diet and lifestyle, and ultimately working towards your goal. Some of our prescriptions and interventions may need to await the results of your testing (if we are utilizing some testing).
Our first follow-up appointment typically takes about an hour, depending on the number of tests we have to review, and the complexity of your care. This appointment is usually scheduled anywhere from two to six weeks after our first appointment.
From there, we recommend additional follow-up appointments every four to six weeks during the initial phase of treatment, so your plan can be adjusted if needed. These appointments are typically 30 minutes, but we also offer 45- and 60-minute options. Once you feel better, you can check in as needed.
We also recommend an appointment at least once a year to check in and make any necessary adjustments to supplements, or lifestyle interventions.
